Phil Fitzsimon-Porter

Phil is a founding Partner at Philanthrope, responsible for the firm’s operations, governance and long-term stewardship model. He ensures that the co-operative structure, performance-linked fee arrangements and internal standards reinforce accountability and client alignment.

He co-leads Philanthrope Capital, overseeing investment operations and governance across mission-aligned early-stage ventures. His work focuses on disciplined capital deployment, portfolio support and governance structures that enable growth without compromising purpose.

Alongside Philanthrope, Phil is the founder of Caldwells, a sustainable multi-site consumer business. Earlier in his career, he held finance roles at Manchester United, operating within a high-profile, performance-driven environment. His background combines commercial, operational and financial experience across both private and purpose-led organisations.
